It seems that 2025 is stacking up to be a banner year for lever action rifles and carbines. There are the traditional models featuring blued steel and walnut in both handgun and rifle calibers, then there are what I term as “Buck Rogers” lever actions. These rifles and carbines are also in handgun and rifle calibers, but have different finishes, stock materials, and such add-ons as Picatinny rails, M-Lok slots, and other such features. Some of the lever-guns listed are variations of existing models, some are new, and some have been in the gestation process for a while. Here is what I found at the 2025 SHOT Show, seen in press releases, or discovered on the web.
Bond Arms LVRB Rifle
This entry from Bond Arms has been in gestation for at least a couple of years, and will hopefully come to fruition in 2025. While its platform isn’t AR it’s close enough for add-on and after-market compatibility. Its action features a cam system that aggressively feeds rounds out of a 30-round magazine using a very short-throw lever mechanism. Chambered for .223 Wylde, it will be easily convertible to other calibers. Barrel length is 16.25” with an A2 flash hider. The angle of the lever permits installation of the Magpul 870 buttstock and the forend has numerous M-LOK slots. The top of the receiver and on the front and rear of the forend is Mil-STD 1913 rails for sights/optics. The rifle comes with a 30-round magazine and the estimated MSRP is $1599.00. For more details on the LVRB go to www.bondarms.com.
Chiappa 92 Wildlands T.D. Carbine
Based on the Model 92 platform, this will make you feel like a “Space Cowboy.” While traditional Winchester 92 replicas have top ejection, the Wildlands features angle ejection. Chambered in .44 Magnum, it has a 9-round capacity. Barrel length is 16.5” and it’s suppressor ready (5/8×24) with a thread protector. The carbine has a matte blue finish, plus a black skeletonized synthetic pistol-grip buttstock, with an adjustable comb, rubber butt pad, and M-LOK slots. The forearm is black anodized aluminum with M-LOK slots. Both the stock and forend are equipped with sling swivels. Picatinny rails are included for mounting optics and the large-loop lever is wrapped in paracord. It is also a take-down and separates into butt-stock/receiver – barrel/forend components. MSRP is $1897.78 and for more information, go to www.chiappafirearms.com.
Cimarron Firearms Co. 1873 Nueces Rifle
A Winchester 1873 lever action rifle replica, it honors famed Texas Ranger Captain Leander H. McNeely, who commanded the “Special Force.” He was a Civil War veteran, former Texas State Police captain, and was a fearless fighter, who brought justice to the Nueces Strip, along the Rio Grande River. McNeely suffered an untimely death due to tuberculosis, and among the list of famed Ranger Captains. This commemorative rifle has a 24.25” barrel, which is stamped with a “T*S” – the same stamp used on rifles issued to the Texas Rangers. It’s chambered in .45 Colt, has a beautiful hand-rubbed oil-finished stock and forend, which complements the classic “old metal” blue finish. MSRP is $1768.88 and for more information go to www.cimarron-firearms.com.
GForce Arms Saddlehorn LTAC
This lever-gun is a hybrid of traditional Model 92 style, while allowing state-of-the-art modularity. Chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 Spl., with an 8+1 cartridge capacity, it has a 16.5” barrel that’s threaded (1/2×28) at the muzzle and capped. The aircraft-grade aluminum receiver and forend have a matte black finish; the forend has both Picatinny rails and M-LOK slots. On the upper rail of the forend is an adjustable aperture rear sight, and the front sight is a HIVIZ fiber-optic. It comes with a straight-wrist synthetic butt-stock, with a rubber butt pad, and a walnut butt-stock is optional. Its large-loop lever is leather-wrapped and stitched for comfortable manipulation. MSRP starts at $779.00 and more information go to www.gforcearms.com.
Henry Repeating Arms Lever Action Supreme Rifle
Although debuted at the 2024 SHOT Show, production will commence in 2025. The LASR appears to have lots of Browning influence look-wise. It will be available in .223/5.56 and .300BLK; the .223 version is shown. It has an 18” barrel and a 10-round Magpul PMAG magazine that has a 5-round capacity limiter for hunting. The barrel is free-floating for sub-MOA accuracy and is suppressor-ready (1/2×28) with a thread protector. A quad bar linkage and slider crank mechanism combine for lever-action smoothness, and its six-lug rotating bolt-face provides positive lockup. To help keep dirt and debris out of the action, there’s an internal hammer housed in the aerospace-grade aluminum receiver. The LASRs adjustable match-grade trigger has a 4 lb. pull weight, and it has a unique trapezoidal, fully adjustable rear sight, and a ramp-mounted post front sight. The American walnut stock is checkered and has a rubber butt pad. MSRP is $1299.00 and for more information go to www.henryusa.com.
NOTE: Since SHOT 2025 it’s been learned that HRA is created a new Special Products Division. It will serve as the home for Henry’s most technically advanced firearms. The SPD will focus on advanced materials and metallurgy, cutting-edge manufacturing processes, and don’t be surprised to see Henry making some “Buck Rogers” lever-guns of their own.
Marlin Guide Gun Model 1895
Ruger reintroduced the Marlin line with the Model 1895; this Guide Gun version is built on that platform, and is chambered in .45-70 Govt., with a 6+1 cartridge capacity. Its 19.10” cold hammer-forged barrel, is threaded (11/16×24) for a suppressor, and fitted with a semi-buckhorn, adjustable rear sight, and hooded, brass bead front sight. Case ejection is through a port in the right side of the alloy steel receiver, which is drilled and tapped on top for optics mounting. It has an exposed hammer and push-button safety. Finish on all steel components is matte blue. The pistol grip butt-stock has a recoil pad, and both it and the forend are checkered brown laminate, with sling swivel studs. There is also a Guide Big Loop lever. MSRP is $1279.00 and you can get more information at www.marlinfirearms.com.
Marlin Model 1894 Classic
This lever-gun, long a favorite of western action shooters, is back again! There are three versions; one with a pistol-grip butt-stock in .44 Magnum, the others have straight-wrist butt-stocks and are in .357 and .44 Magnum. The version shown is the .357 Magnum, which is the one favored by the cowboy crowd. It has an 18.63” barrel, and its magazine tube will hold 9 .357 or 10 .38 Special cartridges. The alloy steel barrel and receiver have a matte blue finish, and it has a checkered, black laminate butt-stock (w/ rubber recoil pad) and forend; both have sling swivel studs. The rear sight is an adjustable semi-buckhorn type and the front sight is a hooded brass bead. On the reiver is a push-button safety and it has side ejection. Two things I’d like to see if a 20.25” barrel like the .44 Magnum, so it could have a 10-round .357 Magnum capacity, and a brown laminate stock option. MSRP is $1279.00 and you can get more information at www.marlinfirearms.com.

The second version is shown; its butt-stock has a Microcell recoil pad, sling swivel stud, an adjustable cheek-piece, and the pistol grip has textured panels. The forend is also textured, has a steel cap, and sling swivel stud. The PMG barrel is 19” long and threaded (5/8×24) for a suppressor; it has a fiber-optic front sight and a Picatinny rail, with an integral rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped on the left side for scope mounting. There’s also a manual tang safety and a large-loop lever. It has a medium profile 18” carbon steel barrel that’s equipped with a post-type front sight and step-adjustable rear sight. Its tubular magazine is loaded via a slot on the bottom and holds 12 cartridges. The receiver has a streamlined profile with side-ejection, and its drilled and tapped for optics mounting. There’s an exposed hammer and cross-bolt safety, plus an oversized loop lever. The contoured Turkish walnut stock is straight-wristed. Taylor’s & Co. 1894 Carbine

Taylor’s & Co. TC73 Lever Action
A replica Winchester 1873, this rifle has been having some “birthing pains,” but should be available soon. This is Taylor’s first 100% USA-made gun and it’s chambered for the 9mm Luger cartridge. No this isn’t a “cowboy cartridge,” but it’s readily available and budget priced. Rumor has it that soon it might be SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) legal. The TC73 is a top-shelf lever-gun with an 18” suppressor-ready, blue steel barrel, an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, and a white bead front sight. The receiver, hammer and lever are color case-hardened, plus the action is Taylor Tuned. Its walnut butt-stock has a rubber butt pad, and the forend has a blue steel cap. MSRP is $1999.00 and for more information go to www.taylorsfirearms.com.
